#Jesus #JesusChrist #Bible #Biblestudy #MensBiblestudy #Yeshua #Matthew5 #Beatitudes #JesusisGod Jesus Christ, our Lord, starts His ministry in Israel with Baptism by John B. and verification of the Father by speaking from heaven. He is then tested and picks His 12 disciples. Then He preaches Repentance, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. It is near us, as humans need God's Spirit within us so we can learn to listen to the Spirit, who causes us to be born again to heaven. Enjoy, and let us know what you think. https://biblestudycompany.simplecast.com/episodes/mens-bible-study-matthew-4-jesus-is-god-on-earth-come-to-help-us

One of our Men's bible studies asked a question about whether the church replaces Israel. At biblestudycompany, we do not believe it does, but certain types of eschatology think that. We had a lively discussion regarding this topic. It is well worth you reading Romans 10 and 11. This teaches us to approach the law with Faith, and Christ is the end of the law. He was to pay the sin debt, and we can learn tremendous lessons from the Bible. The Bible teaches us about what pleases God and what doesn't. Therefore, we want to live praiseworthy to God. The audio is 1.30 hours. https://biblestudycompany.simplecast.com/episodes/is-the-church-of-christ-replace-israel

God created rest. He didn't simply rest; God is eternal all encompassing and capable of everything and anything. "Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath" (Mark 2:27)

Here, God literally created rest.

REST DEFINITION: cease work or movement in order to relax, refresh oneself, or recover strength.

As God created, at the completion of a step, He would then proclaim His created as "good".

At the completion of CreaTION, He EXCLAIMED what He had made as VERY (❗️) good

He had a perfect unadulterated creation. It was in its purest form. God is absolute holiness, purity, and perfection. For GOD to exclaim is to understand that GOD was approved; pleased. The magnitude of this verse is astounding.

All we have known for thousands of years as the humans He created in Genesis is a fallen world and a God who is invisible and at times feels or has to be distant due to our own uncleanness and sinful state.

To have God look on you and be well pleased, to have GOD label you as "very good" when Yeshua in Luke 18:19 reminds that only God is good, that's just unfathomable.

This is a mighty love and Providence from God.
