Apparently a primary verb; properly, to be weak, i.e. Yield -- give place.
KJV:
To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
NASB:
But we did not yield in subjection to them for even an hour, so that the truth of the gospel would remain with you.
