Feminine active participle of an unused root apparently meaning to join; a wall of protection -- wall, walled.
KJV: And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
NASB: The sons of Israel went through the midst of the sea on the dry land, and the waters were like a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.
KJV: But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
NASB: But the sons of Israel walked on dry land through the midst of the sea, and the waters were like a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.
