Of Latin origin; a quadrans, i.e. The fourth part of an as -- farthing.
KJV: Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
NASB: "Truly I say to you, you will not come out of there until you have paid up the last cent.
