Then the commissioners and satraps began trying to find a ground of accusation against Daniel in regard to government affairs; but they could find no ground of accusation or evidence of corruption, inasmuch as he was faithful, and no negligence or corruption was to be found in him.

King James Bible Then the commissioners presidents and satraps began trying princes sought to find a ground of accusation occasion against Daniel in regard to government affairs; concerning the kingdom; but they could find no ground of accusation or evidence of corruption, inasmuch none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, and no negligence or corruption neither was to be there any error or fault found in him.
