KJV: And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.
NASB: On an appointed day Herod, having put on his royal apparel, took his seat on the rostrum and began delivering an address to them.
KJV: The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
