NASB: Now one of the Pharisees was requesting Him to dine with him, and He entered the Pharisee's house and reclined at the table.

NASB: "But they all alike began to make excuses. The first one said to him, 'I have bought a piece of land and I need to go out and look at it; please consider me excused.'
KJV: And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
NASB: "Another one said, 'I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to try them out; please consider me excused.'
KJV: Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
