A primitive root; to swell up (literally or figuratively, active or passive); by implication, to favor or honour, be high or proud -- countenance, crooked place, glorious, honour, put forth.
KJV: Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
NASB: nor shall you be partial to a poor man in his dispute.
KJV: Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
