KJV: And David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the joinings; and brass in abundance without weight;
NASB: David prepared large quantities of iron to make the nails for the doors of the gates and for the clamps, and more bronze than could be weighed;
KJV: Even to the artificers and builders gave they it, to buy hewn stone, and timber for couplings, and to floor the houses which the kings of Judah had destroyed.
NASB: They in turn gave it to the carpenters and to the builders to buy quarried stone and timber for couplings and to make beams for the houses which the kings of Judah had let go to ruin.
