KJV: That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
NASB: so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
KJV: If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
NASB: "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!
KJV: Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
NASB: "So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
KJV: A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
NASB: "A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.
KJV: O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
NASB: "You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart.
KJV: A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
