KJV: For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
NASB: For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God.
KJV: Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
NASB: Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough?

KJV: Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
NASB: holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain.
