"You shall plant and cultivate vineyards, but you will neither drink of the wine nor gather the grapes, for the worm will devour them.

And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.

'I gave you a land on which you had not labored, and cities which you had not built, and you have lived in them; you are eating of vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant.'

Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.

You removed a vine from Egypt; You drove out the nations and planted it.

And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.

Even the shoot which Your right hand has planted, And on the son whom You have strengthened for Yourself.
