KJV: Hast thou not heard long ago how I have done it, and of ancient times that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps.
NASB: 'Have you not heard? Long ago I did it; From ancient times I planned it. Now I have brought it to pass, That you should turn fortified cities into ruinous heaps.
KJV: His roots are wrapped about the heap, and seeth the place of stones.
NASB: "His roots wrap around a rock pile, He grasps a house of stones.
KJV: And he dwelleth in desolate cities, and in houses which no man inhabiteth, which are ready to become heaps.
NASB: "He has lived in desolate cities, In houses no one would inhabit, Which are destined to become ruins.
